Sunrises, Sunsets, Cloud formations, Ligntning and Rainbows

Hey -- has anyone out there had good experiences with photography of rainbows, lightning etc

My rainbow pics come out very dull. Never tried lightning, I don't think my cheapy camera or I could catch it.
I did however get this shot of a Sun Dog December '05.

I have these from 2 years ago not real bright but likr the start~~ middle ~~ end of the rainbow
With my new camera i would love to try lighting now ...if only we could get some

I rather like this photo Ross. I do like photos of the sky and cloud formations.Its extraordinary the different colours that nature produces.I have found this one that shows some nice colour also

Thats a great photo pipit You sure got the beautiful colours of the Rainbow Second one is the best in my opinion
