I do like the raised appearance of "B" too, I was going to ask if it were possible to get that same shadowed effect on a black background? Or what about "B" on a light background that had more of a yellow tone to it, to coordinate with the yellow of the music score ?

I like both choices much better like this, but now think I have to go with "D"; even though the background blends into the color of the page, I really like the raised shadow effect and the very thin border that shows around each of the three pieces!

...ah, now I see you were changing it again as I was writing LOL! yes, the very thin border around the whole composition solves the problem of the background blending into the color of the page. Love it!
