Hi Folks:
This thread is meant as a place to "park" a pic that a member may need for some use other than "Andy's Daily Pics". (Andy said it was OK. ;-> )

Once in a while, you may need to have a photo with a URL to post somewhere on the web that you couldn't post directly from your hard drive. Something you don't necessarily want to put in your "Albums" or on the slide show.

This is that place. :)

Good idea, Deb. I've been using the Daily thread for this.
DailyPics can easily be used as an image host for other web site postings. Just click an Attachment or Album pic until the Addy starts with "api.ning" (not dailypics.ning) and ends with your image file name. Copy that Addy into your post on other sites that don't offer uploads directly from your PC. There is usually an 'add image' icon/button for this.

Garooch: Basically, from you picture in the thread, click it til it displays in its own window. Check th URL and it should have "api.ning" as the first thing after the 'http://", and the end of the URL shoud be your file's name and ".jpg". Copy that URL and you can use it to post that pic on another web site if you need to. I don't know if I made it any clearer. ?

I never was on PhotoBucket. More convenient than Flickr.
