I hope you all have a good photo editor. This is the place to post your trials, questions and proud accomplishments.
Let us know which editor you use.
I use PaintShop Pro.
I did this one first. Once I figured out how to cut a circle I had to figure how to use it. I'm very slow at this but each practice sessions opens new horizons. Use a sequence of tools to build an image.
Layers, my friends. Layers.

Still using PaintShopPro, Andy? Me too. But I had to get the newer version. It's practically the same thing. Just a few changes which I'm sure they thought would improve things, but to me it's just a pain having to get used to new things. I haven't actually done anything yet though. Guess I should.
What do you mean "still'. I've only had it for a year. I'm just breaking it in. lol
I have more time to experiment when the weather closes in. Time to re-cycle last season's pics.
Al, what 'tool' did you use on the tree shot? Looks like it's covered in ice.
This kept me occupied today. I don't much know what I'm doing in PaintShop, it's all trial and error.
Today I learned how to rotate an image without loosing critical edges, move one layer within the field and re-shape a layer distorted in an intentional full image distortion.
How do you mean "popped off"? Should it extend past the frame?
I like yours. What's on the edge of the sign?
How do you liquefy a portion of the image, was it a separate layer?
No effects on the flower, just a little sharpening. It might have lost a bit when I re-sized the final image for posting here. The whole package was built for my RedBubble account, 3750 X 2500 DPI.
Superb catch. 5 I always like the way the nuthatches look like they were shorted in the tail department. Just proves a big rudder isn't necessary when you are good at navigation! [grin]
