Daily Pics

Good morning everyone. Last evening we ventured down to Salida to hear the Unites States Air Force Academy Band put on a concert, which was wonderful in-spite of a mid-concert "rain delay". On our way there we stopped at this structure, quite amazing to be right next to! 365 FEET

Now that's a smokestack! If I had built that it would be crooked, like the tower of Pisa.
Peeky is peeking. :)

Afternoon all! State holiday today and I'm taking advantage of it. Been out all morning transplanting, planting, watering, pruning, etc....all with the camera strung over my shoulder, of course. Relaxing now. Just turned on the news to see what's happening in the world. It's wall-to-wall Michael Jackson. ...... Think I'll have a nap!
The bigger butterflies are finally starting to show up.

I was watching this Thrasher doing a bit of grooming after taking a dip in the bird bath. Then he smoothed himself, turned to look at me, and was gone.
