Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a great (and safe) holiday weekend!
We are having a short stretch of absolutely perfect summer weather here....sunny, low humidity, around 80 degrees each day. I so wish the entire summer could stay just like this!

Wishing you all blue skies with billowy white clouds today:

glad you had a great weekend. we've been partly sunny and moderately warm but the pool people are not very happy, they'd like more heat

Hmm, I don't think I've ever seen this. Fascinating look, Louie.

'tis an odd blossom there, Louie!
Love your puffy clouds, SJ.
We have hot and humid with overcast skies. Back at work. Three-day weekends are great! -- til they're over. Sigh.

Yes, the sky shot was taken on Saturday! The sky was so beautiful all weekend!

Good Morning Louie. That is a great sky shot, and the Dutchman's Pipe vine is similar to stuff we had growing down on St. Croix, nice shots.

38 here this morning, headed to the mid sixties by mid-afternoon. Great sleeping weather! Headed down into the heat and populace of the city today, even catching a Rockies game this evening.

brisk sleeping weather...so how far is the city from your home?
so Marquis will be going for #11???

90 miles down Hwy 285 over Kenosha pass, into Denver. We are equa-distant from Colorado Springs... both all downhill :-) And indeed, Jason is headed for #11, and we sure hope he makes it! Named yesterday to the All Star team, as you'd probably already heard.

yes I had...
so when you drive downhill, do you turn off the car and coast down??

Sounds more like football weather than baseball. :)

Lovely sky, Susan.

We had a very nice anniversary weekend in Kansas City. It rained Friday until about and hour or so before the first pitch of the Royals-White Sox game. The Chicagoans won, but the weather was gorgeous for the game and the fireworks show that followed it. As though on cue, however, the sky opened up and the rain started falling just as the last fireworks display painted the sky. On the morning of July 4th, we wandered around Country Club Plaza in search of photo ops. We came upon the KC Tea Party demonstration (about 125 people) and, as I took photos--which I'll post later today, I hope--I was encountered by the self-described organizer of the event. Oh my, oh my!! What an experience.

Dinner that evening was wonderful. What a country!!!

gorgeous! I love your creek shots! Great pov here, and I love those snow-covered, leaning trees! The filter emphasizes the edges to give this a crisp look!
