Daily Pics ~ Sunday, August 16, 2009 (egads August is already half over!)
Sorry I didn't make it around for yesterday's daily. Good morning everyone, happy Sunday!
I thought I'd post one from Friday, I was so captivated by the hummingbirds, I'd forgotten all about the landscapes I'd taken in the morning. The "ceiling" was down below 11,500', and the deck is about 9,800 feet so one got the feeling of being sandwiched between the clouds and the ground. If you look up at the clouds, you get a sense of what we see when scuba diving, in rough seas. The ocean's surface, viewed from below, looks very similar to what you see here. This photo is looking toward Breckenridge from South Park. Of course there are several fourteen thousand foot peaks between where I'm standing taking this picture and Breck.

I like them both too, Keet. Probably I favor the second as the peaks are more prominent.

Typical woman - attention is on a conversation somewhere. (I know I'll be curcified for that statement [grin]) Again very soft in focus.
Absolutely love this posture and smirk. Wish it was in focus more.
