That IS a pretty one, Louie. We can use all the 'Sunny' we can get.
We had .6 inch of rain yesterday. It was unusually dark this morning, more like twilight. My home is bright with lots of windows and skylights but I needed to turn the lights on. Dense fog then wind and another .7 inch of rain. Poor Sarah freaks in thunder. It let up long enough to run errands, I hear thunder again.

Osteos are one of my favorite flowers. They're so bright and the centers are do intricate.
No rain yet today here, hot and sunny - but enough of a breeze that it's not too bad.

Dasia, those are lovely lilies! I think your second shot is a variety of coreopsis?

Since we're on a yellow theme...

Saw this little yellow flower in Seattle; at first I thought it was a buttercup, but it's not like the buttercups I know with all those stamens! Anyone know what it is?

very different...have never seen it but by the looks of the leaves it may be a vine of sorts

Das may be onto something. It is similar to blackberry blossoms. Very cool, whatever it is.

5 all the way. There are many shots of fly-away seed pods, but this one is set off by the terrific angle adn the focus being behind the front wave of fuzzy-wuzzies.
