Good morning everyone! Temps are in the mid 40s right now but it's damp, overcast and windy and feels colder. Rain is in the forecast through Saturday compliments of TS Ida. I shouldn't complain, though, as we're on the edge of the system. The New Jersey shore is facing heavier winds and rains as well as coastal flooding, possibly the worst in a few years.
Here's a spot of color from a few days back. Not much is still blooming in my garden, but this gazania plant is still hanging on.
Neat shots. I've heard of Black Cohosh because of its use in hormonal therapy, but never knew it as Cimicifuga racemosa. It's quite attractive as is the European Ginger.
Should your Baptisia australis have bloomed? I agree, the color of its leaves is very appealing and unique.
