Good morning. It's a bright, sunny spring day. Looks like the frost warnings are over so today I plan to transplant the cooler weather veggies and flowers into my garden--broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, lettuce, Shirley poppies, oregano, dianthus and rudbeckia. I started these seeds months ago and they are really ready for the big world. I may get to gladiolas later.
Sounds delightful! Our frost warnings have been over for some time and we're on our 14th consecutive day of 100 degree temps. And we still have over a month until summer starts.
We were just getting into the mid 80's regularly, then got this really unusual cool spell. Cloudy and in the upper 50s to low 60s the past 3 days. So not normal. I can't imaging 100s in May any more than I can grasp having a last frost date in May! :)
This was kind of a throw-away shot, but I love the look on her face. I believe I was disturbing her browse. (enlarge to get the full effect of her annoyance).
