Supposed to be another beauty here today... high in the 50's, lots of sunshine. Presently its 29 and cloudy. Sunrise in a few moments promises to be majestic with the cloud cover.

This poem touches me in that my dad was with 354th Pioneer Mustang Fighter Group in Europe; WWII. We have found his "group" and have attended reunions over the past 10 years.

We are in our 2nd day of rain, courtesy of TS Ida. Somber day for Veterans' rememberance. This is my mom with her cousin (L) and my dad, just before they shipped out for Europe in WW2. Both long gone, now.

Totally unedited shot of the view out my aunt's appt window of her next door neighbors' "back yard". The huge yellow tree was just so beautiful each morning, but there was no access to it from ground level for a photo. :(
