This is adult #2 in the Dahlias. I recognize it by the wing pattern.

I'm down to just one Praying Mantis now, the one who's been hanging out in raised bed #1 for about a month now. I'm hoping the others are just more elusive.

Thanks, Deb. I've tried editing other things using contour lines and normally I don't like the results. It just seemed to work well with the mantis.

I've been editing and deleting pictures from all the way back to June. Came across another of the mantis from July with the eyes almost as pink as the ginger he was on.

Great shot, Deb. Do you think the amazing pink eyes on your mantis could be a result of reflection or were they really pink? (I've been working on editing and deleting pics, too. I've gone back as far as two years, though.)

Nice angle for this one shot. I rarely get one with blue sky in the background. I wonder if it's still hanging on out there.
