Daily Pics

My original thought was to show people engaged in various kinds of work...... but let's have fun and see how many different and creative interpretations we can come up with for WORK!

As always: one photo per person per day!

No, this photo is from the Annual Immigrant Parade on 6th Avenue on Saturday.

We were in the city on Saturday - after the Immigrant Parade, which we found by accident, we went to a street fair on 6th Ave between 23 and 34th, then down to the west village for a while.

I really have to get out and take some pics of people at work...
Meanwhile....I also have a tourguide pic. Her name is Laura and she is one of the most patient people I ever met. This was at Manuel Antonio park in Costa Rica.

Our fellow tourists - not really into photography that I could tell. The two on the far right just wanted to hurry up so they could go shopping, the fellow in the knee socks and the lady in the colorful swimsuit were know-it-alls, the little fellow with the blue shirt was silent (bless him) and that's one of my pals half out of the shot on the far left. We spent most of the tour getting as far away from them as we could...they were scaring the animals. :)

Here is craftsman assembling cabinet furniture. I have a few photographs of him, but it's the pencil behind the ear that made me select this one.

Thanks, folks! That just happens to be the G that's broken, Paul. Was gonna call it "need a new G string" but we're supposed to keep it "PG". ;->

Thanks, all. It's one of the few pieces I can still play. Sadly, I sold our piano last year. Wasn't able to bring myself to give them my music along with.
