My original thought was to show people engaged in various kinds of work...... but let's have fun and see how many different and creative interpretations we can come up with for WORK!

A South Dakota work scene if there ever was one!

Even though, Susan, that looks like just an ordinary cup of java and donut, it has a very personal meaning to me. Western South Dakota was my turf for over 20 years. There was often travel to points east. That coffee & donut seemed to develop into a habit... Wall Drug, a nickel cup of coffee and a maple iced cake donut, almost identical to those that my paternal Grandmother used to feed me and my 70 fellow cousins when we'd visit them at their farm. Indeed a break from work!

I met this DJ when i took photos the radio station events they hired him lol . And come to find out my son knows him and hes DJing at my sons wedding in a few weeks ..

wow! Boing, I give that acrobat alot of credit for those moves, I sure couldn't come close to doing that ! LOL!

That acrobat seems to be really working hard. How odd that must be, to be doing that in the atrium of a cruise ship.

Saving the best for last! My son, working as part of the FDNY team that helped remove the US Airways plane from the icy waters of the Hudson River; the plane landed safely with 155 people on board, after a birdstrike right after takeoff from LaGuardia airport on 1/16/09:
