I never learned to swim as a kid and when my sis got her pool 30 yrs. ago I began to learn on my own.....I can still recall as if it was yesterday, treading water in the deep end, looking down to the bottom (with goggles on) and wavering on whether I could swim down to the bottom to pick up a golf ball...it took several times and it looked soooooo far down....LOL....I can just imagine the feeling of looking down like DD in that treading water pic
