An odd distiction to choose to remember with a monument....the highest Masonic Lodge.
Great view they had, tho.

Boooo! What kind of stingy spoil sport tells people to stay out of the garden!? No fair. (Or is the sign intended for deer and rabbits?)

Took this pic last Monday while traveling 445 miles to vacation at the rural home of an internet friend whom I'd never before met in person. She has a 62 acre property near the Ohio River as well as 6 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, and three ducks. Two other internet friends whom I've met up with on several occasions flew into Philly a week ago Sunday and stayed at my house overnight before our early AM departure in a rental car. Had a great time exploring WV and OH and getting to know my online friends better. Our excursions and activities were wonderful, but not particularly wild. We're ready to do it again.

will you be posting some pics for us???....(hint)

Definitely, although I've got my work cut out for me in the garden right now trying to play catch up for the time I've missed. All four of us were shooting pics during our get-together but I think they judged me the most 'snap happy' one of the group. I was jealous of the Nikon D-SLR my hostess was using and am anxious to see some of her shots. It may be a while, though, because she's just got dial-up and even for dial-up it's very temperamental.

Spent many happy weekends in W.W. W. Va. at a friend's home there back when I was in college.

oops sorry, I've seen the Fuggedaboutit sign, but thought it was for leaving Brooklyn.... the one I posted is the one I see everyday when I go into work in Brooklyn. I think there are several versions.

Good one makes me want to go there not so sure the leaving sign. Can you explain. What Fuggedaboutit means is it American slang?

It means "forget about it" said in an Italian-American/Brooklyn accent (mafia-style) and is a famous line from the movie Donnie Brasco.
