Took this pic last Monday while traveling 445 miles to vacation at the rural home of an internet friend whom I'd never before met in person. She has a 62 acre property near the Ohio River as well as 6 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, and three ducks. Two other internet friends whom I've met up with on several occasions flew into Philly a week ago Sunday and stayed at my house overnight before our early AM departure in a rental car. Had a great time exploring WV and OH and getting to know my online friends better. Our excursions and activities were wonderful, but not particularly wild. We're ready to do it again.
Definitely, although I've got my work cut out for me in the garden right now trying to play catch up for the time I've missed. All four of us were shooting pics during our get-together but I think they judged me the most 'snap happy' one of the group. I was jealous of the Nikon D-SLR my hostess was using and am anxious to see some of her shots. It may be a while, though, because she's just got dial-up and even for dial-up it's very temperamental.
oops sorry, I've seen the Fuggedaboutit sign, but thought it was for leaving Brooklyn.... the one I posted is the one I see everyday when I go into work in Brooklyn. I think there are several versions.

just fired up my snowblower, and I'm ready for our approaching snow, we've been lucky so far but may get hi this time...then it will ventute over to visit TW, BP and Andy too!

We are still waaay belkow normal temps here and they are still saying we might actually see snow tonight and tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.
