The mantis in my pic had been hanging out close to our house for a few weeks. It seems to have been quite at home in the abelia grandiflora shrub.

Maybe we have a mini-theme here, I have a shot from my USVI office, but with the underwater shots this week, will probably be saving it for a future theme/challenge week.
