With origins in ancient times and most popular in Western art since the 17th century, still life paintings give the artist more leeway in the arrangement of design elements within a composition than do paintings of other types of subjects such as landscape or portraiture..."

Beautiful still life, Bebop!
This is going to be a real challenge for me! I don't think I've taken many still life shots ~ although I may find more than I think when I start going through my files. It looks like I am going to have to get creative this week!

Great still life. Like the mixture of flowers with grapes. Colors are brilliant and composition is done very nicely.
