Daily Pics

A DavesGarden Round Up is scheduled tomorrow, Sunday. I had a good time at another RU a couple years ago and this one is less than a half hour away.
I hope to see a few old friends and meet some new.
I'm better prepared this time knowing what it's all about. The potted plants are properly labeled and the seed packs are ready for the swap. It's being held at a Day Lily specialist's home so who knows what I may pick up. The weather looks perfect, too.
I roto tilled 2 old strawberry beds yesterday, a couple hundred square feet. Half will be a new plant nursery for my own Day Lily seedlings with a little room left for extras.
I even have a Morticia t-shirt from my Zazzle store to wear, lol.

Sounds like fun, Andy. Some time, I hope to get to a Round Up. I'd love to see what you come back with. Tell Morticia to "be nice". ;>

I wonder if Morticia will scare off people.
Wish I had something 'special' to bring.
I got first dibs on a pretty Campanula.

They start at about $16, give it a try, D. LOL

The best I can do right now is give you a cupon code for $5 off any order of $45 or more, good through September 29th.

Hi, Deb. I had a good time. I spent too much time looking around and not enough chatting with people.
This is one corner of the gardens on a very sunny afternoon.

ARGH, it took me too long to edit my last post. I should take speed typing lessons.
The Day Lilies offered were close to what I already have so no new DLs.
I did get 2 new Campanulas, corriopsis, Rose of Sharon (no ID) and seedlings of white Asiatic Lily, red hellebore, asclipias (not tuberosa), white hollyhock and a couple other small items.
It was fun but I'm glad I didn't bring Sarah. The host had a lot of land but not much open space for 30 people and 5 dogs.

My favorite Spider type DL.

Jewel weed. These are hard to shoot, they dangle on thin stems for the slightest breeze to jiggle. It was almost calm.

It was too sunny for general garden shots as you can see by the first pic.
The Jewell weed was a lucky find way in the back.
I snapped only 50 pics with only 5 edited so far. I'm slacking off PC use lately. I need a break.

Kathy, aka Boojum snapped this while I wasn't looking.

I just found this thread. Morticia looks great on you! I went to a Round up in July too. We had alot less people than yours but we always have a great time. I keep forgetting that you hybridize. The spder looks like Free Wheelin' which I have and hope it increases enough to share next year. I've been slack at feeding this year.

gorgeous! I love your creek shots! Great pov here, and I love those snow-covered, leaning trees! The filter emphasizes the edges to give this a crisp look!
