well gang ole mother nature socked it to us today temp reached 110 yes i said 110 hot today looks like our lovely spring isgone lol ..keep cool folks

All the summer birds are back, the Catbird returned 2 days ago. I like the Catbird, it's sleak, dark gray, about the size of a Robin with a nice song. They can swoop at 6 inches over the lawn, fun to watch.

86 degrees today went walking two miles and caught butterflies and bees hee hee you will see them tomorrow on daily hee hee

today is tuesday may 13 and a little breezy with few clouds which is rare for us lol .maybe a shower up NORTH/temp will be in the nineties..have a good day

93 is hot even is high summer. But 47 is cold for May. It's cloudy, windy and not a 'yard work' day.
Robin, you are right. I like the rain best when it stops, lol.

today it was 93 degrees and breezy and sunny walked about two miles ..did laundry etc

"Rain, rain, go away, come agian some other day.." >>Stormy weather..">> "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine...". Do you ever notice how many songs, poems, adages, etc are about the weather. I suppose that it is because our moods so easily reflect those of the sky. I am trying to find beauty in the rain, but I have to look small into the world of the raindrop. One good thing about the rain (beyond the watering necessity) is how I feel when the sun pops through with warm, bright, awakening light. I just love the weather.

Amy, while you are nearing 100 we have been in a chilly mist/rain for days. The grass seed I tossed around is happy, the spring flowers last longer but the tulips don't open.
I have a neighbor ready to come by to get plants but she keeps putting it off because she can't plant them soon enough for the 'bare root' plants to stay healthy.
I haven't taken many pics so it was time to play with the old ones in PaintShop. Now I have ideas for more 'fancy' editing but some of it takes a lot of time. I like 'selection' but even a simple one takes almost an hour.

wheather will be in the nineties going to the colorado river .will take reflections and ducks and whatever else different i see lol. will be windy so probrably not many flowers ha ha .hey you all take care puters been down so its good to be back but im going away for weekend .so blocking mail..have a wonderful day and God bless

Last week I was in Yosemite working for a photographer in a B&W Photography workshop with Ray Mcsavany. This day was the best with a storm blowing in through the valley. It was a very cold rain, but the mist and the clouds becoming silver lined as the sun rose made getting up at 4:00am a treat. I was only using a little point and shoot digital (while everyone else had their view cameras), but it was an experience I will never forget. Gotta get a better camera!
