I really like your abstracts. What software do you use to create them? I've been chicken to download any of the free fractal stuff. Everything I've done has been in Photoshop.
I'm using Corel PaintShop Pro. It's way easier than PhotoShop and only $80 for the latest version or about $30 for an older one on EBay.
I've been using PSP for a couple of years after endless frustration with PS.
The key with these abstracts is combining tools (Filters on PS).
The above image (mug) started out as a simple Gradient on a new black image.
I make my initial image 2400 X 2000 to fit mousepad specs. They are large enough to make 2 different mugs each by flipping the image. What you see above is a flipped image.
The latest PSP has a 'selective flood' tool that can be used to make sections transparent like the T-Shirt you liked. (Thanks for the comment, BTW.)
I have limited experience with other editors but PSP works fine for me. One image can make a dozen products. I can create new ones in half an hour or less. This abstract thing may be a new avenue for me, we'll see.
gorgeous! I love your creek shots! Great pov here, and I love those snow-covered, leaning trees! The filter emphasizes the edges to give this a crisp look!
