Zazzle pulls a Ning surprise
Our earlier members remember how Ning would have 'upgrades' that hit us by surprise and didn't always work.
Zazzle did it last weekend by adding and removing features without notice. Many shopkeepers were up in arms, "What's all this? Where did that feature go?"
I was caught by surprise, too. I didn't try to change anything until I read all the forum discussions and visited other updated stores for 2 days.
I spent 5 hours preparing and testing before implementing. Now I see another 2 hours to replace a necessary feature that was removed.
I like the new stuff, just wish we had advanced warning.
PS, the major new feature is a scrollable category bar, cool.
