Raquel, I'm growing passiflora for the first time this season. Mine have vined nicely, but no sign of a bloom...yet. I'm still hopeful, since we have such a long growing season.

Andy, you got alot accomplished getting those seedlings in!

Hmmm, this group has been too quiet.
Our summer has been extra wet and cool. The past week has been hot and humid as well as very wet. the veggie gardens are a disaster in New England with rotting crops, late crops and a new problem for tomatoes and potatoes ~ late blight. The blight that caused the great potato famine a century ago in Ireland.
I've been spared the blight because I start my own plants.
Todays project was the Day Lily seedlings. I tilled under the oldest strawberry beds a couple weeks ago between rain storms. The seedlings couldn't wait any longer to be planted so I waited until that area was in the shade and tilled it again, by hand, to remove every living root and add compost etc.
I now have 3 rows of 13 little plants that I haven't a clue what I will do with in 3 years when they bloom, lol. They are my own hand pollinated tetraploids, all eyed and/or two toned.

Hi, all. I added a Comment Wall for fun.
We had an absolutely beautiful day in Massachusetts. Lots of sun, light wind and temps near 60 degrees.
Yesterday was nice too and i pruned the apple tree and grape vine.
Today was spraying all fruit trees with lime sulfur and dormant oil. Then I attacked the blackberry patch to prune and remove the unwanted plants.
I decided 3 years ago to keep only my thornless 'Chester Thornfree' blackberries. I yanked up all the thorny ones but they persist, maybe I got the last of them this time.
Two new strawberry beds are next.

Deb I take it they're not hardy in SC either?? I would definitely try one there....you can start with just a 6" branch, grow it in a pot for the first few years and then set it out... my first piece came from a piece I bought at Canada Blooms (la...

I think that of all the garden chores, raking leaves is the absolute bottom of my "enjoyability" list! You worked hard to make that pile, I bet.

We have Bottle Brush here; they seem to bloom twice, Spring, and a lesser bloom in autumn. Louie, wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to have a Plumeria TREE!?? Sigh.
