Happy new Year
Walking down the Malecon in Santarem on New Years Day, these folks were having a party at a little roadside bar. I think Alan's camera got their attention with that 300 lens and they were shouting at us to take their pictures. So we obliged, from across the road. :)

Yes, I imagine the lady was popular. :) They were really great and using the survival Portuguese I had managed to retain, they were saying nice things.
