this is a cut pipe on top of a cyclone fence at a ball bark, and with the frost this morning made it more interesting, the pipe is covering the open barbs, so players don't get cut or snagged when going after the baseballs

Wow! I saw on the news this morning that the temps were "near freezing" and they were concerned about the stadium grass for the superbowl going brown. LOL.
From your photo, I'd say it was "at freezing". :)

thanx Debin, and don't know why they were worried for the green at the stadium, I have worked several Golf courses and all you usually have to do is turn the sprinklers on for a few minutes to melt the frost, and will stay green

5 all the way. There are many shots of fly-away seed pods, but this one is set off by the terrific angle adn the focus being behind the front wave of fuzzy-wuzzies.
It does seem fewer do remember this date-A simplist thought, but perhaps content and happy Countries might help bring an end.
