Replica of the Sailing Ship "The Hector" in Pictou Harbor.

On September 15th, 1773, the Hector landed at Brown's Point in Pictou Harbour with 189 passengers aboard. These thirty-three families and twenty-five single men began the first Scottish settlement in Nova Scotia and what is now the town of Pictou - the "birthplace of New Scotland". This began a wave of Scottish immigration to Nova Scotia that would last for decades. This replica of the "Hector" was launched in Pictou Harbour in 2000.

Really nice for the nearly unique lighting. Wonderful tones. Might consider a bit tighter crop.

Unlike many, I like driving in snow. It's not bad if one slows down and doesn't try to hurry. Nice capture.
