I want to enter some photos in a contest, but I can't figure something out. It says submit at least 5 x 7 at 72 pixels, less than 2MB. So...what does that mean?? I googled and it looks like for 5 x 7 I need to resize my digital photos to something like 1500 x 2100?? That looks HUGE on my computer screen..is that what they want?? It looks so pixelated! I am totally confused..help!! Can anybody suggest a good book about digital photography that is easy to understand?

Dear Santa,

I've been a good girl this year. For Christmas I would like:

1. A good pair of gloves so my fingers won't freeze off when I'm out trying to take pictures.

2. Some thermal underwear (Big Mama size please) so I don't freeze my buns off.

3. Sunny 70 degree weather year round (if you give me this you can scratch the 1st two off my list).

4. Lots of money for bird seed and bird treats so I can attract the birds and take their picture.

I was laying on the hard rocky ground this evening, arms hanging very carefully across the barbed wire fence, camera in hand, waiting for the colors of a beautiful sunset to pop.
