- I'm a native of the "Lowcountry" of So.Carolina, and though I've lived other places, (D.C., Miami, Sacramento), I always come home. Love heat and hate cold. I'm an obsessed gardener if not an accomplished one (yet). I take pics as a hobby and am trying to become a better photographer. The garden is my favorite subject. My Picasa web page (below) was started mainly so family members in the UK could see my garden and the town where we live, but all are welcome!

I've been MIA
Just a note that my time's been taken up by my "day job" and other things the past couple of weeks, so I've not been here as much as I'd like. It is student term paper time and I have 90 papers to read, so I figure it will be another week or so before I'm freed up to spend more time with all my pals here.
I miss it! :)

Very cool time lapse photog
If you love flowers or floral photography, check out this link (above). It's a short slide-show (with nice music) or all sorts of flowers in time lapse. The sunflower blew my little mind. :)

Apologies to my pals
Just wanted to apologize for not commenting more on everyone's photos the past couple of weeks. Life has been conspiring against my favorite leisure pursuits, but I think that's changing so I hope to be more active shortly.
I'm looking and enjoying as often as possible. Back to full strength soon!

Bohannan is the name of a ranch located in southwest Texas near Cotulla, TX that we are presently visiting and where I took the photos...the owners of the small [960 acres] ranch are George Strait [the country and western singer] and Y.N. Strait. It is mostly cacti, mesquite trees, some wild flowers and a few oil/gas wells. Thanks for commenting.

I can still taste that Cornish Ice Cream, however the last time I was in Newquay was in 1978! I also miss Devonshire cream too. :^)
