About Me:

I am 62 years old, divorced after 30 years of marriage. His decision. I have two girls, married with their own families.I am a born again Christian.

I enjoy taking pictures. I was given a Panasonic Lumix by my daughter in 2004. In the past i took pictures just to take them of family etc. When i got this camera and started using it, i was surpirsed that i'm not half bad. I now have some experience under my belt and can take some real nice pics.

I have lived in the U.P. of Michigan all of my life and still enjoy being here. We have beautiful scenery for taking pics. My interests are, taking pics of course, cooking, walking, biking, playing golf and cross country skiing.

I am interested in learning more about how to take good pics and if someone knows of free photo sites like Picasa. I'm also interested in networking with new people.

When i lived in Az. We went to a Diamonbacks game In Tucson in 2002. I had never been to a professional baseball game. I enjoyed it for a time but it was so long. Since I had never heard of them it was difficult to stay interested in it. I live in a small town so we don't have professional games like that here.

I like the pics you've posted so far. Looking forward to seeing more. I especially want to see some Wilderness shots from the UP, because a friend at work has been talking about travelling around the Lakes this summer and UP may be on his agenda. He likes The Great Outdoors (he's only 28) and takes great photos with his digital camera.
