Thank you Deb, he was a live wire and all over the place. I'd say this is the most challenging age group to photograph. x

Looks like you got him over his attack of shyness. Well done! Gorgeous big brown peepers.

Lovely, would improve if you cropped top third into a square?

About Me:
In 2003 I had a stroke that left me with limited mobility on my left side. I have gained some control back but can't get out and about as much as I'd like. I took up photography again out of sheer boredom as Iv'e been a perpetual learner all my life and needed stimulation. I could only use my right hand at first but with time and determination, I've got to a decent level of photography that it has become a passion for many different reasons.

Thanks for your comments on my pics! As for the Covered Bridge - the one I posted is actually in Canada, although there are many in the USA. According to Wikipedia, most of them are from the 19th century and they are covered because "early bridges were often made of wood, especially where it was a plentiful resource. Wooden bridges tended to deteriorate rapidly from exposure to the elements, having a useful lifespan of only nine years. Covering them protected their structural members, thus extending their life to 80 years or more."

Hi Gina , Thanks so much for your comments on my shots. Quite frankly I really can't remeber if I sharpened that photo, I rarely do it but its possible. That bug however does have a somewhat leathery plasticy shell.
