I travelled to Cornwall very early on Monday morning to meet those members of the team whom I hadn't so far, and also to meet the camera crew for the first time.

I must say, the weather on arrival was atrocious!

The launch on tuesday morning went ahead, but only just. High winds, driving rains etc etc.

The pilots were supposed to cover just over 100 miles on tuesday. Instead, by the time the first refuel stop came about 40 miles north of Land's End, we were all glad to see it.

Event Photography Etc

I must say, the last two weeks have been a lot of fun. Not like having a job at all!

It's carnival season here in Devon, and I have been travelling around the various local towns taking photos of folks having fun. (My two youngest daughters are attendants for our Carnival Queen so I am also a chauffer LOL)

My expenses are more than being met by photo sales. I will upload a few examples when I finish writing this.

I have been unable to log in here for quite some time. This was due to the fact that I had forgotten my password, and because I have a family network with Ning, it wouldn't allow me to change it for some reason. So I have been going round in Circles. Finally cracked it today.

It just gets better

After a fun weekend last week at the Icicles Enduro Kite race meeting I have had some great feedback on the photos I have posted in various places, including the racers' forums.

Back Again

Hi Folks

The last few weeks have been a bit of a blur! What with work and my father being hospitalised etc etc. It seems I have missed my favourite time of year for photography.

I see many of you have made the most of the Autumn colours though, some beautiful shots have been posted.

Great to see so many new faces too.
