"Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again."
This is a postcard material!! Beautiful composition and well-edited! Outstanding resolution, color, and sharpness. The harsh coldness of winter captured portrays natural beauty and outstanding scenery! 5
I like your suggested change on my photo, Virgil, which emphasizes the chimneys. The large green roof seems to lead the eye back to the chimneys better than what I had done with it. My version was a "drive-by shooting", caught quickly through the car window, but I had fun with it.
Virgil, thank you so much for your thought-provoking, kind comments on my photos. I do have to wonder if I over-saturated the bike rack just a wee bit? I like it that way personally, but I may have overdone it. What do you think, in all honesty?
down the road...look closely coming down the road..you might see gary cooper singing "oh, don't forsake me, oh, my darling" : D. thanks for the comment, virgil
Nice shot of the two of you. Coincidentally, I just finished watching Jeopardy which I had recorded earlier. I was especially curious after Jenterline had asked about the NYC librarian.
same here Susan...
posted some of mine for Jill....I had one regret and that was not having a 2nd camera when I was up top....now I'll never get the chance!
I climbed those millions of stairs too - about 20 years ago - and experienced such vertigo at the top that I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to get down! Eventually I went down on my butt, step by step.....!
