Just perusing the most recent edition of MacWorld. On page 79 they have an article on the Nikon D3S. For the next couple weeks we'll be heading out into the prairie. First a few days in Rapid City, where we just might be lucky enough to catch one day of the "Black Hills Pow Wow" which is the Lakota gathering for dancing, fancy costumes and exhibits... might make a very different challenge to photograph... very colorful, indoor (flash) photography. Yesterday was a "Volunteer Day" for DeeDee and me over at Beaver Creek Ski Resort. That resort is 75 miles from our cabin. The trip over was quick and easy; we made the trip in an hour and thirty-five minutes. The trip back home was more problematic and is what prompts me to write this Blog entry. We left Beaver Creek at 4:15 pm. We arrived back at our cabin at 7:30 pm. The drive from Vail to the top of Vail Pass was a two hour trip, a distance of 14 miles!
