HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY
LET FREEDOM RING ORR THIS LAND
THEY SAID SOMEDAY YOU WILL UNDERSTAND
FREEDOM TO ME IS AN IMPORTANT THING
SO LETS ALL LISTEN WHEN THEY RING
THE LIBERTY BELL IN PHILLY LAND
I JUST WAS THERE AND I UNDERSTAND
IN SOME PLACES THROUGHOUT THIS PLANET
THEY DONE HAVE THINGS WE TAKE FOR GRANTED
SO THAT IS WHY WE FIGHT THESE WARS
NOT FOR OIL OR TO KEEP SCORE
LETS ALL TAKE A MOMENT IN OUR BUSY DAY
TO BOW OUR HEADS AND THANK GOD AND PRAY
FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE DIED FOR US
LETS FORGIVE AND STOP MAKING A FUSS
I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY
AND RIP TO THOSE WHOVE DIED
BE SAFE AND PLEASE DON T DRINK AND DRIVE

Enjoy, one day there may be peace, but not in our lifetimes, nor while there is money to made in war.
If the US, UK, Russia, France and countless others stopped selling weapons to dictators then we may be on the way to peace.
Or if they listened to the people who all want peace.

there were record numbers in Ottawa today for the ceremonies there, esp. now that Canada's Afghanistan toll is at 133.....Prince Charles and Camilla have been in Canada for almost a week and also attended the ceremonies
good to start them young learning about the sacrifices of many!
