Daily Pics

I often have posted shots with this caption, "How not to be seen." (From an old Monty Python sketch.) Some illustrate a successful method, some ..not so mucn.
Here are two from this evening down by the pond. I think one has a better plan than the other.

Please feel free to add any examples you may come across. :)
I may go back and pull a couple of oldies but goodies, myself.

Is this a quiz? I don't see the critter in the second shot. LOL

Is that a green praying mantis camouflaged by the grass in the second shot? That's what it looks like to me.

Love your posts Deb. They are really quite good at hiding from the lens. As you already know, most the animals up here think if they can't see me, I can't see them, so they just turn their posteriors my way... in this case there were three or four Ptarmigan, they were being stubborn, and not giving me the "head" shot... but I did notice their remarkable camouflage coloration, matching with the surrounding rocks... here is one of them

Those birds are very good at HNtBS!
Andy and TW, there is a grasshopper in the middle of that shot. :)

How about this one? Usually these swallowtails stand out in any picture, but I almost missed this one.

That's a really unusual shot, Bebop. Real pretty, but quite different.
