It was quite a week, first the spotted towhee blessed me with a pose or three, however the very first shot of it, when it first arrived is much more obscure:
A little later in the day, Tuesday, I wandered up to the football stadium to see how things have progressed, and discovered this ironworker, up high on the beams...
followed by Tuesday's sunset sojourn over to the state line to capture some launching canadians, only to be interrupted by these two:
I had planned on making it up to Steptoe on Wednesday, but put that adventure off to Thursday. Instead I wandered over to the nearby quarry to, once again, attempt to capture some launching canadians. They were there, they did launch, I was out of position, so instead had to settle for this shot of one of them landing high in the embankment:
So, come Thursday, I did make it to Steptoe... what a morning it was
