Thank you, Paul, for your comments and high compliments on "A Day in a Life in Alaska" (yes, it was taken a month ago August 2009 many months away from Christmas) and "Of Boats, Lines, and Wooden Poles" (this is a parody of the formal definition of what makes a good photo -- Obviously, the anarchic lines, shapes, and forms made an unusual rhythmic pattern that was interesting and pleasant to look at, in my opinion). Again, thank you very much. I hope I did not hurt your eye too much :-)

Thank you, Paul, for your comments and high ratings on "All-Steel Rivetted Bridge", "Morning Stroll Along the Stream", and "Looking Down the Promenade". I appreciate your compliments -- most helpful, indeed, in knowing what can be improved upon... Thanks again. Virgil :-)
Hi again Paul,
My last name sounds something like "For - co - doe" ...that's the best I can think of. You know, even people "English AND French" here have problems with my name...it's very unusual. In fact it's French from France. My grand-parents came from France in 1907 and I still have relatives over there. Now, I have cousins a little across Canada AND in the US ! My uncle (my dad's brother) married a girl from Madison, ME. and moved there...had 3 kids...who had kids too...so now, Texas is home of another Fourcaudot ! Isn't that amazing ?
Your story about the little boy made me laugh...it's really cute ! Believe me, I would never laught at you because I'd be scared you'd laugh at me right back !! ;o)
By the way, what's the story about your last name and I wonder how "you" pronounce it. To my, I would pronounce it with the French accent...so " Moe lee but for "neux" the French pronounciation as no equivalent to English, I guess you pronounce the "X"..
Thanks Paul to help me with my photos, I really appreciate...Merci beaucoup !!
Thanks for the info Paul....I wish it would "invade" my backyard ! It's lovely..

thank you Paul for the comments, opinion and rating ...

Hi Paul...thanks for all your comments as you know they are much appreciated...the line in the flames must be the edge of the fire pit I think as I hadn't spotted it and I can't think what else it could be....the irony of my title "girly heaven" is I don't really like chocolate!!! lol
Good evening Paul! Thank you very much for your wonderful comments and high compliments/ratings on "Russian Orthodox Church - Juneau AK", "Waterfalls in the Inner Passage - AK", and "Sailing at Dusk - Inner Passage of Alaska". I very much appreciate all of them... Virgil :-)

This photo of wild crab apples ~ poet food. A beautiful allegory of Ambition - both hopeful and thwarted. While energized by the broad sweeping curves and attempts at fullness and colour, we are humbled by bearing witness to the ultimate results of…
