Thank you, Bebop, for your comments on "Rhapsody of the Seas on Dock ver. 2". Indeed, the difficult lighting condition forced me to apply HDR post-processing blending 7 exposure settings. HDR settings were manually adjusted for the desired effects in the final output. More tedious and humbug workflow, but I'm glad it worked just fine... Again thank you.. Virgil :-)

Thank you, Bebop, for your comments on "Of Boats, Lines, and Wooden Poles". It's a photo-parody of a good simple design makes good photos. I'm just glad that it turned out just as visually interesting, if not artfully correct, to the viewers... I hope it did not hurt your eyes too much :-)

Again, thank you.. Virgil :-)

Thanks so much for your comments on my shots - much appreciated. The passengers on the beetle were phoretic mites which are beneficial to the beetle as opposed to parasitic.

Good evening Bebop! Thank you very much for all your wonderful comments and high ratings on "All-Steel Rivetted Bridge", "Morning Stroll Along the Stream", and "Looking Down the Promenade". I read carefully and understand your comments. I'm so amazed that you can see the subtleties and nuances that I see as well!! Looking at your photos, I do see many, many things that I see in my pictures too... Especially your very sharp eye on interplays of texture, color and composition.. Thank you again for "validating" what I practice follow in artistry!

Virgil :-)

Good evening Bebop! Thank you very much for your wonderful compliments on "Russian Orthodox Church - Juneau AK" and "Sailing at Dusk - Inner Passage of Alaska". The whole Pacific Northwest is indeed a photo-haven of a destination... Again, I appreciate all your wonderful comments... Virgil :-)

Good evening Bebop! Thank you very much for your high compliments on "Boat Harbor Scenery", "Star Princess on Dock" (i.e., Indeed, it was intriguing that the early morning light (around 8:00 am) as our ship was docking was just perfect to capture the morning glow on the adjacent houses and the ship's water reflections), and "BC Capitol Building". I noticed, my opinion only, that the rays of the sun on the Pacific Northwest during the months of August was just "photo-perfect/photogenic" compared to the sunlight (i.e., very direct and very strong and harsh) we get here in Hawaii. Perhaps, all because we are nearer the equator and has more direct sunlight.. Virgil :-)
