Ross K - in regards to the title on your photo "surly bonds", it's such a moving poem and to think the author was only 19 when he was killed in action; 1941.
Thanks for mentioning it - so fitting.

yes I did thanks - I'll be picking it up at Costco tomorrow. Now it looks like I have to stick some pic on this site. What is the ideal file size? I tried to put a couple on yesterday but they took forever to download so I canceled it

The pictures of the sunrise over the Falls were taken early on a Sunday morning. The way that I like to take sunrise pictures is to put my camera on a tripod, use an ISO of 200, then take pictires every few seconds over the length of the sunrise. When the pics are all put together, a sort of time lapse of the sunrise results.

Lots of fun.

Love the blue cast. I've been getting several shots in that type of light this year. Marvelous warm oasis in the middle of this.

This new lens is terrific to pull this off. That's about as shallow a depth as I have seen. It works really well here.

Typical woman - attention is on a conversation somewhere. (I know I'll be curcified for that statement [grin]) Again very soft in focus.
