Oh my - I'd never want to be anywhere that it snows in June! (Even if it is very pretty!)

Your patience paid off! Beautiful creatures, and not only did you get the shot, but within a nice little glade. Well done! I have not been here as much as I'd like the past several weeks. Alot going on in my work life, keeping my from devoting as much time as I'd like to my friends and hobbies. I hope to rectify that sooon!

I garden in the "Great White North" aka Canada....just south of Detroit Michigan,
in an area commonly referred to as "Florida North" because of our warm climate.....

I plan a 2nd visit to Grand Teton and Yellowstone, perhaps next year. I'll be better prepared and can shorten the trip and cost some by taking a more direct route and camping along the way. Age is not a hindrance at this point.

I think I drove through Billings on my way to Helena from Yellowstone. Beautiful country out there.

Orrin. I responded to you but not sure if it remained on my wall and whether you will be able to read it, so here it is, cut and pasted from there:
Orrin is a beautiful name. 'Or' in Hebrew means 'light'.
What a stunning last name too!
My name is common in many countries. It originates in Greece (Greek goddess of Rainbow). It is pronounced as it was where I was born (Israel)-'ear-is' as opposed to 'eye-ris'. So great to hear that joy describes your personality! I always say my motto in life is the same as my blood group. See if you can work out that riddle!

Thank you! Is your name actually Orrin? It is very unusual and beautiful. I have not heard it before.

Welcome and look forward to your photos!

He's not drinking hemlock, is he? [grin] The titles of these two pictures together worried me. Nice focal points accenting the big picture.

Mother Nature is such a wonder. When she wants to, she can cram more beauty into a given area than a human would ever conceive. You have caught a microcosm of the entire area in one spot. 5

Know the piece well. You must have been a good student. This can't be sold with a mechanical rendition. Very well conceived and constructed collage. As a retired music teacher, I love the attention to the counting and the H.T. 5 all the way.
